Uplift Our Local Community: Alamance-Burlington School System Closet Supply Drive
Our Uplift Our Local Community Committee, in collaboration with Omicron Epsilon @ Elon University, organized a basic and personal needs supply drive during our May joint chapter meeting. The supplies were donated to the Alamance Burlington School System's supply closet, where they would be available to students and families. About 600 items were collected, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap/body wash, hair products, and laundry detergent.
We are thankful for the opportunity to serve the students of ABSS and our local community.

Soles4Souls Shoe Drive 2021
On Sunday, November 14th, the Pi Omicron Omega chapter hosted a Shoe Drive-Thru to collect shoes to donate to the Soles4Souls organization. The Mid-Atlantic Region put out a challenge to collect shoes and the Pi Omicron Omega chapter happily accepted. Our goal was to collect 125 pairs of shoes. Due to the generosity of POO members and members of our beloved Burlington community we collected 845 pairs of shoes!!!!
THANK YOU to all who donated shoes for this project. We also want to acknowledge Biscuitville for providing 'free biscuit' cards for all shoe drive participants.
